The Joint Task Force in Borno State has called on the general public to be on the alert following security reports that terrorists were making desperate moves to snatch vehicles for suicide bombings.
A statement from the JTF, which was signed by Colonel Victor Ehbaleme and made available to the Nigerian Tribune, called on those whose vehicles had been stolen to immediately report suchincidents to the police or to the JTF.
According to the statement, failure to do so will result to owners of such vehicles being treated as collaborators when intercepted.
