SOUND SULTAN NAMED CREATIVE PRODUCER FOR HENNESSY ARTISTRY FINALE!

Lagos| Nigeria: Olanrewaju Fasasi, one of the most versatile talents in the Nigerian creative industry has been announced as the creative director for the 7th edition of Hennessy Artistry’s VIP finale.

 

Popularly called Sound Sultan, the Naija Ninjas CEO who jointly premiered the All-Star comedy film, “Head Gone” with brother, Baba Dee on Saturday, November 22, 2014 will bring to this year’s finale an all-new look and feel with groundbreaking scenery and performances.

 

Sultan is a graduate of Geography and Regional Planning from Lagos State University with almost two decades under his belt as a creator and performer. As a singer, he boasts of endless hits, including the classics JagbajantisBush Meat, Light Up Naija, Orobo, Area, Natural Something and Kokose. He has also worked on successful movie projects including Campus queen, Last girl standing, Law student, Silver lining among many others. 

 

Brand Manager, Hennessy Nigeria, Lere Awokoya says, “Sound Sultan is an Artiste with a sound mind, who has a knack for creativity and an experience in showbiz. I had one meeting with him and I was sold – he really gets what Hennessy Artistry is about and what we are trying to achieve – I am confident in our decision to run with him ”

 

The Hennessy Artistry grand finale, holds at the Landmark Event centre in Victoria Island, Lagos on December 6, 2014 and will see Sound Sultan script the whole show as well as coordinate choreographic performances for the finale.

 

The concert will Hennessy Artistry 2014 headliners, 2Face and Wizkid as well as supporting acts, Reminisce, Skales, Shaydee, Orezi, Yung L, Endia, Yung GreyC, RunTown.

 

Sultan comments, “I am thrilled to be this year’s Hennessy Artistry creative director. Past finale concerts have been very impressive but with me and my team on this year’s project, it is going to be one memorable event!”

 

Following the tradition from past years, guests will also enjoy special performances from guest artistes as well as super DJ collabos from some of the hottest DJs in the entertainment scene.

 

Since this year’s official kick off with headliners, 2Face and Wizkid, Hennessy Artistry has wowed lovers of music and the media space with first-of-its-kind activities as well as notable performances from some of Nigeria’s finest within and outside the country.

 

Past Hennessy Artistry finales have featured great performances from MI, Naeto C, Dbanj, Eldee, Banky W, Wande Coal, Phyno, Chidinma, Seyi Shay, Burna Boy, Kay Switch among many others.

All is set for a Stage Play 'ABURI 67' Every Sunday in December at Terra Kulture

After two coups and several riots, the country's military hierarchy has been turned upside down and no leader is recognised by all. Two ex-colleagues disagree over who should lead the military and hence the country?
 
Is war inevitable? A national conference is called but abandoned after more riots. A nation is perched on the precipice and the leaders scramble to dialogue. Yet, no location within the country is considered safe by all sides.
 
The newly installed military leader in Ghana comes to the nation's rescue. He offers a meeting venue that all sides consider safe. A date is confirmed and all leaders convene. The outcome will either make or break a nation. Watch Aburi '67 to find out what happened and if the issues discussed still resonate in today's Nigeria.
 
A stage performance based on the Aburi Accord of 1967, developed through improvisation ... told with music, dance and drama.
