GUN men numbering over 10 on Monday night stormed the Deeper Life Bible Church, at Otite in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State killing 15 worshipers.
According to an eye witness account, members of the church were at a night service when the incident occured.
The source added that passersby and motorists had to take coverto avoid the rampaging gun men.
The gun men were said to have arrived the church in a Toyota Hiace bus and immediately started shooting sporadically.
The worshipers were caught napping as the gun men were said to have blocked the entrance of the church.
Some lucky worshipers were able to escape. The incident was said to have lasted for about twenty minutes.
When the Nigerian Tribune called at the Police Public Relation unit in the state, an officer, Mr. Ajayi Okasomi, confirmed the incident but said the police was still awaiting official report from the Divisional Police Officer in Okene.
