The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, has said that the police will do everything possible to unmask the perpetrators of the Tuesday blasts that killed more than 150 people in Jos, Plateau State.
Abubakar said the perpetrators would not go unpunished.
He stated this while addressing journalists on Wednesday at the Jos University Teaching Hospital after going round the casualties wards to ascertain the number of those injured following the blasts that left lots of persons died.
He said, “We have visited the injured in the hospital and they are fast recovering.”
Abubakar appealed to the people of Plateau State to be patient and provide adequate information to the security agencies “so that we will be able to arrest those behind the evil act.”
