Lagos State Begins Teaching of Chinese Language in Schools

The State Commissioner for Education, Mrs Olayinka Oladunjoye, yesterday announced that the State had commenced pilot teaching and learning of Chinese (Mandarin) Language in five Lagos State schools.

The schools who have started teaching this language are Bolade Junior Grammar School, Oshodi and Ikeja Junior Grammar School, Immaculate Heart Comprehensive Junior High School, Maryland/Mende Junior High School and New Era Junior Girls School, Surulere.
