PHOTOS: OLAMIDE, D’BANJ, IYANYA, M.I OTHERS THRILL GUESTS AT SIXTH EDITION OF YAW LIVE ON STAGE

An amazing team of superstar Nigerian entertainers converged on Eko Hotel last night, for the sixth edition of Yaw's theatre-style concert 'The Street'.

Iyanya, Olamide, D'Banj, Sound Sultan, M.I, Phyno and many others joined the Wazobia FM star Yaw and colleague Julius Agwu to deliver what will go on record as the biggest stage play/music concert combo in a while.

The big budget play accompanied by dance and musical performances on various national issues such as Fuel scarcity, Governor Adams Oshiomole and the widow, Ex Minister Stella Oduah’s aviation bullet proof car, power and housing issues, open letter issues, House Of Assembly fight, missing N20 billion and Sanusi suspension. Julius formed a new slogan CFHFU (Commot From Here For Us). The play ended with Timi Dakolo stirring performance of his song, ‘One Nation’

Top Nigerian comedians including Ali Baba, M.C Abbey, Okey Bakassi, Akpororo, Chigurl, Elenu, Laff up, Senator amongst many others ensured guests were reeling with laughter through out the event. Upcoming comedians such as Emma Oh my GodStill Ringing and SLK were also given a chance to entertain guests.

Top Nigerians musicians D’banj, M.I, Olamide, Iyanya, Phyno, Sound Sultan, Waje Timi Dakolo amongst many others kept guests on their feet as they delivered electrifying performances from their various hit tracks.

Cool FM’s DJ Xclusive had guests screaming for more with his throw back mix as he performed hit after hit from popular Nigerian tracks from the past.

“I’m so grateful to everyone who came out for Yaw Live On Stage 6. I’m humbled by the support my team and I receive with each edition and we are already working on a bigger package for the next season!” Yaw said after the show.

Other big performers for the night include Dr. Sid, Olamide, Phyno, Timaya, Oritsefemi, Harry Song, Munachi Abi, Lambogini, Ajebutter and Mavin music new signee Korede Bello who showed a lot of energy and passion.

Top dignitaries and entertainment icons such as First lady of Lagos state, Dame Abimbola Fashola, M.D of Heritage Bank, Mary Akporobomeriere, Ali Baba, BasketMouth, Ay Makun, Funke Akindele, Segun Arinze, Kayode Peters, Manny of Cool FM among many others were some of the notable faces spotted at the event.
