The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), early this month, 6th of April, 2014, arrested seven undergraduates in Lekki for internet scams. They were picked up after they were informed that the boys were into illegal acts. Somewhere picked up at Lekki County Homes and others at Lekki phase one.
Part of what was recovered from the boys who all study at Nigerian universities and between the ages of 21-29 were laptop computers, expensive phones, ipads, exotic cars like Range Rover Evogue, Honda Crosstour , Mercedes Benz C 300 4matic, S 300 Mercedes Benz and Acura ZDX SUV.
One of them, Shola Muyiwa, allegedly confessed that he recently collected some amount of dollars from his victim, Dora Hunt who lives in the United States.
EFCC spokesperson revealed that they would soon be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
This is madness, the main criminals are out there in Government houses stealing public funds and nobody says a thing.. Why would graduates indulge in such if the system is accommodating??? An idle mind is the devils workshop so get ready to arrest a whole lot more as long as the top remains corrupt.
