PHOTO: GEJ Visits Scene Of Blast & Injured In Deadliest Ever Terror Attack In Abuja

The president canceled a previously scheduled trip to Ibadan (Southwest Nigeria) to visit the scene of the blast and victims of the terrorist attack at the Asokoro General Hospital in Abuja.
GEJ earlier visted the Nyanya Motor park along with The senate president David Mark, service chiefs and the National Security Adviser.

This is the deadliest ever attack on Abuja.

Suspicion falls on insurgent group Boko Haram, though they have not claimed responsibility.  As well as 71 officially reported dead, police said 124 were wounded in the first attack on the federal capital in two years.
According to Reuters, security experts suspect the explosion was inside a vehicle, said Air Commodore Charles Otegbade, director of search and rescue operations. The bus station in Nyanya is 8 km (5 miles) southwest of central Abuja and serves a poor, ethnically and religiously mixed satellite town where many residents work in the city.
As at the rime of publishing bodies are being removed and taken to the mortuary. See pictures from GEJ’s bomb scene and hospital visit after the break.
