Gospel singer Patty Obasi has passed away.
Obasi who had been battling a critical ailment – kidney failure for over a year had been recommended for a transplant but couldn’t travel because of lack of funds. NET gathered that Obasi need not less than N10m to replace his two failed kidneys in India.
He died in his Enugu residence on Friday, October 26, 2012, after he reportedly slipped into unconsciousness.
