ConnectNigeria.com Begins “Best of Business 2014” Awards Nominations

It has been announced that voting has begun for Connect Nigeria’s first of its kind annual awards “Best of Business 2014”. This prestigious awards show has been birthedout of the appreciation of successful Nigerian businesses and their contributions to the economy and general society.

 Connectnigeria.com is an advocate for SMEs in Nigeria and on this premise is holding the BOB 2014 awards to appreciate the contributions of businesses nationwide. In addition to public accolade, this awards show aims to create greater awareness of underrated and unexposed businesses throughout the country.

Nominations for the Best of Business Awards began on the 15th of May and close on the15th of July. Voting for the nominated businesses will commence on the 20th of July and close on the 20th of October, 2014. Any registered business can be nominated by simplyentering in the business & details on the nomination form.

The official winners will be awarded at the invite only exclusive awards show.

The awards gala date and venue will be disclosed at a later date. Though originally established as a company that organizes information about Nigeria with the aim of making such information easily accessible and resourceful for Nigerians,Connect Nigeria has added another dimension to its business offering.

As part of its vision to empower Nigerians with useful information, Connect Nigeria also organized an e-Business Fair in October 2013. Attracting over 2,000 people, it was aimed at connecting small business owners with service providers such as banks and ICT firms on how to build and harness modern electronic technologies with their business operations. In light of this added focus, the Best of Business Awards 2014 has emerged.
