#GUSTheMission: Chinedu Ubachukwu Wins Gulder Ultimate Search Season 11

Chinedu Ubachukwu has emerged winner of the 11th edition of Gulder Ultimate Search. Chinedu beat the two other finalists Cosy Joe & Afolabi Emmanuel to the ultimate prize by being the only person to complete the final task of retrieving the General’s War Helmet. This victory came after the 24-year-old graduate of Petroleum & Gas at University of Port Harcourt successfully navigated his way through the forest and managed to row his canoe across the heavy currents of Aguleri River.   The other two warriors failed in their bids to get to the mysterious destination across the waters.   With this achievement, the native of Anambra State will exchange the treasure for a whopping N10million and a brand new SUV.   As soon as Chinedu located & retrieved the General’s War Helmet, anchorman Chidi Mokeme inducted him into the exclusive Order of Heroes as the 11th “Ultimate Man”.  

The other finalists will get cash prizes for the positions they finished in.  

On the other hand, Otto Canon has won the Viewers’ Choice award, thus becoming the proud owner of a brand new SUV in addition to the prize money he gets for being the 3rd runner up.  

 Samantha Appi, the Last Woman Standing also gets a reward of a brand new 2014 Urban Ford Ecosport SUV in addition to the prize money for being a contestant on the show.

The Winner's Party will take place at Women Development Centre, Awka on the 1st of November 2014 at 5pm.

The reality show began with a total of 14 contestants, 7 of whom are male: Iwuoha Ikenna, 24, from Imo State; Nwagboso Joshua, 27 from Abia State; Emedike Ikenna, 28, from Anambra State; Nne Cosy Joe, 28, Rivers State; Ubachukwu Chinedu, 24, from Anambra State; Otto Canon Chimenem, 25, from Rivers State; and Afolabi Emmanuel Olusegun, 29, from Lagos State.   The 7 female contestants are: Iroh Noela, 25, from Imo State; Appi Samantha, 25, from Bayelsa State; Erijakpor Loretta, 30, from Delta State; Robinson Sharon, 26, from Delta State; Eriata Blessing Ese, 21, from Edo State; Addoh Evi, 22, from Delta State and Nwagbagiro Sandra, 25, from Anambra State.

#GUSTheMission: Samantha Appi Emerges Last Woman Standing On Gulder Ultimate Search XI

Samantha Appi has emerged as ‘The Last Woman Standing' of Gulder Ultimate Search 11 after Evi Addoh got evicted for giving up during the ‘Bucket Trap’ task.

The title of Last Woman Standing comes with a new urban 2014 Ford EcoSport SUV in addition to the prize money for the position that she eventually finishes in.

Evi’s eviction came as a result of her failing the ‘Bucket Trap’ task, which involved a contestant pulling a bucket of sand weighing exactly 30% of their body weight and keeping it from touching a watermelon on the ground. The task was aimed at identifying the strongest and weakest warriors.

After a while, Evi gave up, allowing her bucket of sand touch the watermelon. This led to the anchorman Chidi Mokome evicting her from Gulder Ultimate Search XI.

At the end of the task, Otto Canon was declared winner while Samantha was asked to look around and describe her observation. She stated, while blushing;

“I’m just realizing it sir, Evi is not there”

Chidi Mokeme chuckled and responded,

“Yes Evi is not there, Evi has fallen by the way side and that should lead you to another realization, you are the last girl standing”

The other contestants cheered and congratulated her on the achievement.

A night before, Noela Iroh got evicted from the show after failing to finish ‘The Wall’ task

Samantha Appi however will battle it out with the remaining four male warriors Nne Cosy Joe, Ubachukwu Chinedu, Otto Canon Chimenem, & Afolabi Emmanuel Olusegun in the search to retrieve the General’s War Helmet.

The question is – Who will retrieve the General’s War Helmet?

#GUSTheMission: The Battle Gets Tougher As Beautiful Noela Iroh Is Evicted From Gulder Ultimate Search XI

The battle for the grand prize of 10Million Naira and a SUV is getting more intense as the Gulder Ultimate Search warriors make steady progress in their quest to find the General’s War Helmet.

One of the viewers' favorites, beautiful Noela Iroh could no longer stand the rigour and intensity of the jungle, as she gave up during a task and became the next contestant to be evicted from the show.

Noela, a 25year old actress and a budding film-maker was unable to complete The Wall task after experiencing difficulties in climbing the steep wall and retrieving the required set of tiles.


After several unsuccessful tries, she gave up on the climb, and subsequently on her dream of becoming the ultimate champion.

When asked by the Anchor Man Chidi Mokeme what went wrong, Noela explained:

“My hands are too weak, I’ve tried, I don’t know what went wrong sir, I’m actually surprised and I’m very disappointed”

Shortly after the tasks were completed by the other six contestants, Anchorman Chidi Mokeme commanded them to go back to base camp, Noela attempted to proceed but was stopped by the anchorman who said:

“Not you Noela, you are hereby evicted from the Gulder Ultimate Search, you will return to base camp, pack your things, burn your totem and leave the jungle now”


A night before, Sharon Robinson who was the cook of the jungle got evicted from the show after failing to finish the Essential Shape task.

The six remaining contestants are Nne Cosy Joe, Ubachukwu Chinedu, Otto Canon Chimenem, Afolabi Emmanuel Olusegun, Appi Samantha and Addoh Evi

The question is – Who will find the General’s War Helmet?

#GUSTheMission: Contestant Begs For Second Chance After Eviction on Gulder Ultimate Search XI

For the first time ever in the history of Gulder Ultimate Search, contestant Ikenna Emedike fondly known as Ikenna E the doctor appealed to the council of elders for a second chance after the anchorman Chidi Mokeme called him out as ‘Evicted’.

Ikenna who recently bore the 'Stump of Shame', which made him 'deaf and dumb' for a day after disobeying the council of elders, 'Stood on Stump' after sleeping in a luxury room alongside three other contestants, was also unable to complete theOctagon Chart task.

The Octagon Chart task involved contestants arranging three pieces of a hexagon to form the word ‘AXE’.

Shortly after eight contestants had completed their tasks, Ikenna finished his and attempted to proceed but was stopped by the anchorman Chidi Mokeme who said:

“But unfortunately for you Ikenna, stay right there because you are hereby evicted from the Ultimate Search... Goodbye”

Ikenna, in an emotion-laden voice responded,

“Excuse me sir, I don’t want to go sir, give me one more chance, please sir”

The anchorman however showed no sympathy.

Ikenna Emedike joins Nwagbagiro Sandra, Iwuoha Ikenna, Nwagboso Joshua, Eriata Blessing & Erijakpor Loretta who have also been evicted from Gulder Ultimate Search XI The Mission.

The night also saw the remaining eight contestants Nne Cosy Joe, Ubachukwu Chinedu, Otto Canon Chimenem, Afolabi Emmanuel Olusegun, Iroh Noela, Appi Samantha, Robinson Sharon and Addoh Evi elected into the General’s Army.

Finally! Korede Bello (@koredebello) arrives UK for second Leg of #MavinConcertUK

The first leg of the Mavin Concert Tour at Manchester on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 was a success despite the absence of label mates, D’Prince and Korede Bello . 

No reason has been put forward as to why D’Prince and Korede Bello were absent in Manchester since the tour is supposed to include all mates on the label but all efforts to reach out to the Mavins’ camp for confirmation have been unsuccessful so far. 

Few minutes ago, however, Korede posted some pictures on his Instagram page, announcing his arrival at the Heathrow International Airport. ‘#MavinConcertUK #BelloversUk #MEGA,’ is the way he captioned one of the pictures.

#GUSTheMission: Contestant Turns Deaf & Dumb on Gulder Ultimate Search XI

 Ikenna Emedike fondly called Ikenna E became the first warrior to bear the stump of shame in Gulder Ultimate Search XI for disobedience.  According to rules, the Stump of Shame should always be dragged around by the contestant serving punishment. In addition, the victim must not speak with anyone or being spoken to by anybody.

Ikenna .E who was the leader suffered this consequence for moving himself and other contestants to another tent aside the ones being designated by the council of elders.

His excuse was because soldier ‘ants’ invaded the initial tents.

In the words of the anchor man ‘Chidi Mokeme’ who was displeased at his action, he said:

‘So every time solider ants come around, you move and leave your properties for soldier ants. You cannot take care of soldier ants in the jungle? The council of elders will not tolerate disobedience’

Ikenna .E had to carry the stump of shame. As the bearer he becomes an outcast in the camp till the next challenge.

Ikenna E delayed proceedings at the Task Area & Place of The Talking Drum as he had great difficulty dragging his Stump of Shame.

A night before, Nwagboso Joshua was evicted from the show for not been able to succeed in the extremely difficult task Heart of the Hunter.
