Bobo organises competition for Lagos schools

About 300 schools have qualified for the preliminary session of the 2012 Bobo Annual Kiddies Brain Test meant for both private and public primary schools in Lagos State.

The competition, which is held annually, is to reward the immediate community where Bobo Foods and Beverages Limited is located.

To qualify for the preliminaries, each school submitted 1,000 empty caps of Bobo 200ml to designated collection centres strategically located at distributor outlets.

The 300 schools that qualified for the preliminaries have been grouped into four zones (A-D) in line with the nearness of each local government to qualified schools.

Out of the 300 schools that qualified for the preliminaries, 40 will move to the quarter final stage, 20 schools will qualify for the semi final while 10 schools are expected to be in the grand finale.

According to a statement by Bobo , the gesture is the company’s contribution towards educational development in the country, where it has been in the business of producing fast moving consumer goods for the past six years.

“This is a subtle way of ensuring that the children are fully equipped for the technological challenges ahead of their development in line with global standards,”it added.

Bobo Annual Kiddies Brain Test is an Annual Test organised by Bobo Foods And Beverages Limited powered by Bobo, a fruit drink for kids. It is held in each of the state capitals of the federation. About 5000 Schools were invited for the 2012 Edition in Lagos.

The maiden edition of the programme in 2010 was won by Pavic International School while the 2011 Edition was won by Command School, Bonny Camp.
