New CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele Meets President Goodluck Jonathan & Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala

They held a closed-door meeting at the presidential villa in Abuja for about one hour. But the governor refused to talk to the State House correspondents after the meeting.

Leadership gathered, however, that Emefiele and Jonathan discussed the issues of the economy and the banking sector.

Also on Wednesday, Emefiele paid visit to Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the CBN said on twitter.
