You don hear?: I don’t have accounts or property abroad – Pres. Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan is said to have stated that unlike many Nigerian rulers, he doesn’t have foreign accounts or property abroad.

This comes just after the United States of America announced that it had frozen $480 million worth of funds embezzled by the late dictator, Sani Abacha.

President Jonathan is said to have made the declaration during the recent swearing-in ceremony of 11 new ministers.

The statement was contained in a tweet posted by the president’s Special Adviser on New Media, Reno Omokri.
