Tunde and Wunmi Obe Release 5th Star Studded Album titled #TWOPlus

Following over twenty-five years of professional and personal collaboration in a career which has spawned several hit songs and music awards, pop duo Tunde and Wunmi Obe aka T.W.O. have announced the release of their fifth studio album titled T.W.O. Plus.

Featuring collaborations with artistes such as 2face, 9ice, Dammy Krane, Teniim, Segun Obe, Floss and Brace amongst others, the 15-track album is a fresh addition to the artistic repertoire of T.W.O who have previously been recognised for being one of the few Nigerian music acts from the 90s who have maintained their staying power with evergreen music. T.W.O. Plus employs a more urban production feel and mixes it with their signature melodies and socially conscious messages.

The couple, who are Nigeria’s most recognizable husband and wife act, first achieved recognition and public acclaim in the 90s and over the past two decades, their creative collaborations have spawned successful albums such as T.W.O 4 Real, T.W.O. Legit, as well as popular anthems such as 2005 smash hits “Mogbomoya” and "Adupe".   T.W.O. Plus retains the feel-good factor from their previous albums while appealing to the nineties and noughties audience.

Speaking about the new album, Tunde Obe remarked that it is the culmination of their musical careers thus far, and the result of four years of painstaking creative work. In his words, “T.W.O. has grown and evolved over the years, both as a sound and as a brand and this album is a celebration of all that is great about T.W.O. as well as a venture into a fresh sound because we have always prided ourselves on our ability to be musical innovators. I think our fans are going to love this new album because we made it with them in mind. I myself find it very difficult to pick a favourite from the songs on T.W.O. Plus.”

Featuring production from elite music producers DelB, Samklef, Papi J and B. Jay Productions, T.W.O. PLUS promises to be a delightfully original and fresh marriage of sounds, which will further be complemented by the videos that are to be directed by none other than Clarence Peters of Capital Dreams Pictures

T.W.O Plus is a 15-track album which includes the hit singles, Green White Green ft. 2face Idibia, Omonsa, Bianu ft. Floss, and Wedding Day, whose video has already won the NMVA2014 award for Best Use of Costume.
